What an unreal day! Turned up at Mangroovy beach to 20-30+ knots and huge black storm clouds. Then before we got on the water a massive thunderstorm hit, tons of lightening and lashing rain - even some hail - in Egypt ferchrissake!!
Soon cleared though, normality returned and the wind dropped to 20-25knots, so we got out and had a great sesh for 2-3 hours - nothing special - just hanging on most of the time, then the wind dropped more, and we retired to the sunbeds.
Would have been a 3 stars day but the weird weather earned another - the locals reckoned it was the first proper rain in El Gouna for 10 years!
